Large 1884 antique print: Scenes in Chicago. This wood-engraved print is from the July 12, 1884 issue of Harper's Weekly. The antique print is titled "The Democratic Convention at Chicago--Some Characteristic Features of the City." In the middle, there is a large image of the convention hall. Around it are six smaller views of other landmarks: 1) On Drexell Boulevard; 2) In Lincoln Park; 3) New Board of Trade; 4) Dearborn Avenue; 5) State Street; and 6) Custom House and Post Office. This print is in excellent condition. Size is 16x22 in.
